Grassroots growth in Brooklyn

Person by person, community by community

Our Mark, for Everyone

Our Brand, Our Borough

The “Park Pentagon” is the distinctive mark of our Foundation. Familiar to everyone who’s kicked a soccer ball, a pentagon forms in Brooklyn through three of its major avenues (5th, Atlantic, Bedford) that stretch to all parts of the borough. These arteries give the borough its lifeblood, connecting our many diverse neighborhoods to each other – it’s only fitting that they stand for the beating heart of our mission.

we are for all of Brooklyn.

While our Foundation’s colors come from the Brooklyn flag, our overall logo is designed to adopt the colors of any club in the borough. At root, we & our programs exist for the betterment of Brooklynites in the game, on their terms

More voices in community

Bringing everyone into the game

A borough of 2.7 million people requires that growth must come from its roots. Beyond soccer, Brooklyn is a powerful community precisely because of the diversity in its thought & culture. Our borough offers the best of America’s melting pot – and with a population as colorful as ours, its voices can be powerful, individually & collectively.

Thus, through the world’s game, we work as a Foundation towards equity and fulfillment for everyone in our community. The sport strengthens this community by giving commonality across all its people, and this power can be harnessed for tremendous good. Both within the sport & through it, Brooklynites should have the tools to build a better future, for themselves & others, and we strive to offer this to everyone.

Five-Point Plan

Our Programs

We accomplish this mission through our “Five-Point Plan”, supporting the whole ecosystem of football in the borough. These programs help everyone engage with the sport – from playing, to coaching, to cheering, to telling the stories of our communities.
